Mostly Offline for a While Because…

I broke my wrist Labor Day weekend.

I am left-handed, which makes the whole experience extra special. I’ve been managing okay at work, though I type all day and am obviously not running at full speed typing with one hand. But I’ve started having some overuse-injury type twinges in my good wrist, so I’m staying off the computer for the most part when I’m not working.

Cast comes off for more x-rays at the end of the month. The ortho doc thought it’d need 6 weeks total — wish me luck that there’ll turn out to have been super awesome fast healing when I get it checked.
